Anyone have a weather program? Weather on your desktop or something like that? What's the best and how does it work? Bog down your system at all?

I thought it would be a fun thing to have, but not worth it if it makes the pc sluggish. Thanks!

I use Weather Pulse, and I like it a lot. There are jaws scripts that make it a lot easier to use. I don't have any problems with it slowing down my system. If you want more information go to jaws-users.com. You can find the program and scripts there.

Weather Pulse is a program that tells you the weather in your area. You enter your zipcode and you can get all kinds of info. There are a bunch of tabs like current conditions, detailed forcast, and radar images. It's cool and I think it's easy to use.

The latest version of Weather Pulse, ddoesn't require any JAWS scripts, and it should work with Window-Eyes and other screen readers, except NVDA.
The link for it is

Is this program only for the states or has it got other countries?
Sounds interesting.

I'm another user of weatherpulse. Its an excellent program to use. I'm not sure if it works with other countries or not.

If anyone uses Miranda as instant messenger you can get a weather plugin for it that allows you to add citys to your buddy list hit enter on them and get the weather condition. Google for it if you can't get it to work I'll try and help.
